SBS Celebrates Black History Month

February is Black History Month! Our SBS students have been celebrating the achievements by African Americans and recognizing the central role of blacks in U.S. history throughout this month. Each morning for announcements, student council has been honoring one influential African American. Students have also been learning about influential African Americans in various subjects including science, social studies, art, library, and religion.
