While others were celebrating Mardi Gras, our 7th graders had the opportunity to experience our government first hand in Washington DC with Close Up - Washington D.C. Educational Programs. Highlights of the trip include Ford's Theatre, Arlington Cemetery, a private Capital tour by Steve Scalise's office, exploring the monuments at night, Gettysburg, and even SNOW! It was an experience they will never forget
