Our Student Council recently presented an idea to the school administration to raise awareness for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) in conjunction with the LLS Student Visionaries Campaign. Our student council is sponsoring a Dress Down Day in order to raise awareness of LLS and to help find a cure for Leukemia and Lymphoma. On Tuesday, February 28th, all students will be allowed to wear an orange shirt (to represent Leukemia) with uniform bottoms and uniform shoes. Students may also wear orange accessories. This could include socks, hats, bandanas, bows, etc. If your child does not have any orange shirts or accessories, they can wear a green shirt and green accessories. Lastly, we ask that you would please consider sending a donation in the form of coins or dollars with your child to school on February 28th to assist in raising funds which will be donated to LLS to help further the mission of curing Leukemia and Lymphoma. You can place your donation in a Ziplock bag or envelope for your child to bring to school with them.
