St. Benilde School is proud to announce that Mrs. Lynne Pilie has been named the 2017 recipient of the Benilde Medal for Service to Parish and School. Since 1993, Mrs. Lynne has been serving as a classroom assistant. She has been a guiding light and support for numerous teachers, trusted by multiple principals, and a friend to all she meets. She ensures that each child she serves is loved, cared for, and never goes without. Few people are as generous as she is.
After over twenty years of service to St. Benilde School, Mrs. Lynne has announced that it is time for her to enter into retirement. Her heart remains as committed as ever, and she plans to continue to remain a part of the St. Benilde School family through her grandchildren.
Mrs. Lynne will formally receive the Benilde Medal for Service to Parish & School at the upcoming Luck of the Irish Spring Gala on April 8, 2017 at the Landmark Hotel across I-10 here in Metairie. Sponsorships/tickets are currently on sale at the special 10% off fair rate through the end of December. To purchase your tickets, go to 501auctions.com/sbsgala, or you can purchase them by stopping at the school office during regular business hours.
Congratulations Mrs. Lynne! The entire SBS Family could not be more thankful for your many years of service.
