Congratulations Teachers!

As part of the school strategic plan adopted by the School Advisory Board in Spring 2014, SBS  was called to establish a comprehensive teacher evaluation program and performance bonus for high performing teachers.  The actual policy was developed by a committee of School Advisory Board members and teachers during the 2015-2016 school year.  During last school year, the program was implemented for the first time.  Teachers were evaluated in five areas:  Community Participation, Career Development, Spiritual Development, Administrator Reviews, and Parent & Peer Surveys.  The data driven from these reviews will be used to inform individual and school improvement plans during this year.  Finally, the school wants to graduate the following teachers who will earned their performance bonus:
